ReelGuard — Privacy Policy

ReelGuard ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application ReelGuard handles information.

1. No Data Collection

ReelGuard does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no login, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

2. How the App Works

ReelGuard uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect when you are scrolling Instagram Reels or TikTok, and interrupts your scrolling session at random intervals. All processing happens locally on your device. No data is sent to any server.

3. Accessibility Service

ReelGuard uses Android's Accessibility Service solely to detect when Instagram Reels or TikTok is active on your screen. This permission is not used to read, record, or transmit any content you view or interact with.

4. Local Storage

ReelGuard stores only the following data locally on your device:

• Your selected interruption mode (Less Frequent or Very Frequent)
• Daily interruption count (resets at midnight)
• Daily scroll time estimate (resets at midnight)
• Snooze status
• Premium subscription status

This data never leaves your device.

5. Subscriptions

ReelGuard offers optional premium subscriptions processed through Google Play. Payment information is handled entirely by Google and is never accessible to us. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase data as described in their privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

ReelGuard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
